"A journey of a thousand miles must begin with one small step", and in this case that small step is the setting up of a journal. Having thought long and hard about if, and then how, I should record my journey, I've decided to use a mixture of modern technology i.e. this blog, and the more traditional (and possibly more reliable) pen and paper.
Who knows where this adventure will lead me, or what new experiences it will bring, but I hope to capture the sights, sounds, smells and even the tastes through my words. I'll see new places, meet new people, but above all I want to learn ... about myself and others.
